 n event or an event you want to do?\n\nNOW is your chance!!!!\n\nIt's a ne
 w year coming up. AND you want it to be different than the last.\nDo you f
 ind events and think: "Gee\, . . . I like this event but want it closer\, 
 or on a different day\, or just a little earlier or later."\n\nIf you post
  the event you pick the time\, and place and date that in convenient to yo
 u. As well as pick the content/topic/focus of the event.\n\nWhat a win!!!\
 n\nThis meetup is a giant collaboration. In that vein we welcome new organ
 izers.\n\nThese are basic rules all organizers must abide by and work with
 in. Mostly they are all about showing a respect for the members.\n\n**Best
  Practices or the rules simplified.**\n\n1. No Emailing and no using the "
 discussion" box\n2. No outside links\n3. All events are Hosted. There are 
 no "no host" events.\n4. List any money costs in the first 2 or 3 lines.\n
 5. Special note about Repeat Events.\n6. Special note about city or area i
 n title\n\nNot too many rules. Not too complicated. They all have to do wi
 th respect for the membership.\n\n**1.) No Emailing AND No Discussion Box*
 *\nThe one BIG BIG rule I have is NOBODY messages the general membership v
 ia the email feature. Post the event and let Meetup send out all the notic
 es. The discussion box is just another way for you to send spam. So that i
 s closed\, and only for the use and management by and of the (main) organi
 zer only.\n\n**2.) No Outside links:**\nNo links to other meetups. No link
 s to other social media (no instagram\, no eventbrite\, no twitter\, no fa
 cebook etc).\nFor instance: Do not just put a Facebook link. Instead copy 
 all the wording from FB and put the words. Plain and simple\; Link's are l
 azy. So don't be lazy!!!\nYou want members to click the RSVP. So you don't
  give any other option that may lead them away from the event page.\n\\*\\
 *\\* If you "need" outside links of any sort: Contact the lead organizer a
 nd just make sure ok. It usually is. Just ask first.\n\n**3.) Meetup does 
 not allow "No Host" events.** You or the listed Event Host will be there a
 nd present. You will welcome and make sure people can find you or the meet
 up area. And that people will be able to actually be able to meet others f
 rom meetup. If members in attendance report you are not attending your eve
 nts you will not be allowed to continue to post events. If you want to pos
 t an "informational" event then go and post it on Craigslist.\n\n**4.) Lis
 t money costs in the first few lines.**\nThis has to do with email notices
 . The email version of the event sends the first few lines of the writeup.
  If it's free\, . . .say it's free. If it costs . . . say it early so peop
 le have the info.\nIf it is free it is best to include the word "Free" in 
 the title.\n\n**5.) Events can repeat no more than every three weeks\, unl
 ess you get permission ahead of time.**\nWhen making a repeating event DO 
 NOT USE the auto-scheduling feature. After your event occurs log on and li
 st it again.\nThe Auto-pilot is a problem as people forget they listed. Th
 ey don't show up and people do. The complaints end up being filed against 
 the group and not the organizer that bailed.\nIf you use the "repeat" feat
 ure it will be edited and the future ones edited off.\n\n**6.) List the ci
 ty or area in the title.** You get better turnout and less flakes.\n\nTher

 s 17 days/16 nights.\n\nWe have done this adventure three times already\,

 oga and Meditation\, and a local expert TO BE WITH US to guide in Buddhist

  to better acclimatize.\n3. **We are ADDING** a HELLICOPTER FLIGHT from ou
 r highest camp back to start point AND REMOVING two days going down by tak
 ing the flight.\n\nTo clarify. We are NOT going up to the top of Everest (
 29\,000’)\nWe are going to Everest Base Camp at 17\,600’\nOur starting
  elevation will be in Lukla at 9\,400’\n\nYou need to be of average or b

 ill while carrying a light daypack\, you will be OK! If you are very fit a
