Would you come to a city social at Rhythm?

I've been thinking about putting together a second city social event. Our first event at Howl at the Moon was a lot of fun and went pretty well so I thought I'd try again. Right now I'm thinking about doing an evening event at Rhythm; a drum night. If we get enough people interested I'll see if we can arrange a private event. There's no experience necessary to drum, and they provide the instruments. They even give a beginner lesson to get you comfortable on the drum. The lesson lasts approximately 50 minutes and is followed by a half-hour break. The rest of the night consists of half-hour jam sessions alternating with half-hour breaks. You're free to show up anytime, and you're welcome to just sit and listen, or get up and dance. Chances are, though, you won't be able to resist playing . . .

What should Mike's last hike be?

Please check the answer that best describes your preference about the new fee options.

Meetup has created a new payment option when creating new events, Amazon Payments. We can now select either PayPal for an event, or Amazon for an event, but cannot make both options available. PayPal fee events will continue to work the way they have in the past, where you will have to RSVP "No" and then we will change your response once payment is received. With Amazon fee events, we will be able to set them up so that you are instantly counted as a "Yes" once you submit your payment, and you will be able to print a "ticket" for the event. (This method will be less confusing and much simpler for us, the organizers, to administer.)
