Why do a Night-Hike?

Because hiking at night is a lot of fun and so are lakeside bonfires. We will start the hike at 7:00pm and finish-up around 9:00pm. The trail is somewhat primitive, passes through heavy woods, along rocky hillsides and up some fairly steep hills.

After the hike we will head down for a lakeside bonfire. The fire pit is awesome with lots of rock seating all around it. Bring a snack and something to share with (ten people if you can). In the event there is a red flag warning the bonfire will be cancelled. NO alcoholic beverages allowed!

Participants should be physically fit, stable on their feet while climbing hills and walking on rocks at night. Proper hiking boots/shoes and a headlamp/flashlight is recommend! Be sure·foot·ed 1. Not liable to stumble or fall. 2. Confident and capable. 3. Good attitude high energy and ready to work-it.
