We will hike for approximately 90 minutes. The typical loop is a 55-minute hike, so we will add distance, likely to the north of the traditional loop.
For beginners, this is one of the easier hikes in the Sandias yet is a good mini workout for others. Expect at least three hills, which will get us huffing and puffing.
I hike at a moderate pace.
There is no exposure and no scrambling.
By the time we finish, the sun will low on the horizon.
If you don't carry a pint of water, you will wish you had.
No dogs, please.

Pretty good, sorry I left early, as I was still recovering from some "bad potato salad" that I ate for lunch!

Sorry to cancel, but the clouds are looking heavy and the thunder is a bit rumbly. Look forward to next hike.

I really wanted to go on this, but having sort of upset stomach & think I need to wait until next time. This is the perfect length hike for me so I hope it will come up again.

Leonard: To me, 'no exposure' means there's nothing along the trail that is immediately near a place where you might fall and get hurt, such as off of a ledge. 'No scrambling': to me, it means there's no need to use your hands to climb up or down..........
