Monday Foothills hike - EASY

We will hike 3-4 miles in the Foothills area (maybe 500' elevation gain), either north or south, maybe a loop. We will keep a moderate pace, all skill levels are welcome. This will be an exercise hike, good for Beginners getting in shape for more strenuous hikes and still good for Experienced hikers looking to stretch their legs.

Please wear sturdy hiking boots, bring plenty of water, a hat and sunscreen. Dress in layers! There is some shade in the Foothills but not a lot. We won't be taking a formal lunch break but bring some snacks to eat along the way if you would like. I am listing this as 2 hour hike, but it may be less depending on mileage.

$1 fee at the entry station pay envelopes or to the gate guard. There are restrooms in the parking lot.

(I will also be posting hikes on Thursdays which are more challenging or longer.)

Friendly dogs okay but must be on leash.

WEATHER: Check back the morning of hike before 8am in case ugly weather causes the hike to be canceled or moved to Tuesday.

Please be at trailhead ready to hike on time, we will start walking at 8:35am.
