New Meeting: Small Dog Walk/Henry Cowell/Pipeline Rd.

From: Lauren
Sent on: Saturday, March 8, 2008 3:39 PM
Announcing a new meeting for 35ish-65ish Bay Area Hikers, Daytrippers and Playful People!

What: Small Dog Walk/Henry Cowell/Pipeline Rd.

When: Sunday, April 6, 10:30 AM

Meeting fee: USD1.00 per person

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Who should come: This is a small dog centered hike. Dogs are only allowed on the road in Henry Cowell so that's where we'll be. People should come too, if they are okay about walking on the road, instead of a trail

Why: Jack and I really enjoy this hike. :)

Meeting Description: We will meet in front of the gift shop. It's $6 to park in the park parking lot. It's possible to park on Highway 9 and walk in if people don't want to pay the $6. If you have a state park pass - it's free.

There are restrooms available at the start, but that's about it. We will walk along Pipeline Rd out to Graham Hill and back. It's about 6 or 7 miles roundtrip. Mostly shaded, but some sun. There are a few hills, and a nice bench where one can look out and see the boardwalk and ocean. Bring water - there are no drinking fountains along the Pipeline road. Bring food or snacks. :) Hope to see you and your small, well behaved, friendly to other dogs, has had all his or her shots, good on a leash dogs. Also - any of you humans who are okay about walking with dogs, please come too. :)
