Folks this is getting to be a real problem again. Especially if a hike has a limit on it if you don't show up or if you drop out at the last minute (same as a no-show to us) you are being disrespectful to the organizer and unfair to your fellow hikers.

You have held a spot that another hiker who is more serious about going than you could have signed up for. By two days before the hike they have already made other plans.

So be more responsible. Don't sign up for a hike unless you intend to go on it.
