Pump House Park Tour

The Friends of the Pump House conducts tours on Saturdays at 1pm and 3pm, and I've confirmed that they are holding these tours this week. I've been meaning to do this for a long time and so I've decided to go this week!

After the tour, we can walk down the trail to the train tracks and get photos of the iconic CSX train bridge to the west.

Please Note: The weather is iffy this week so if it's likely going to rain hard I will reschedule to a future week. But if the forecast is for a light(ish) rain I will keep it on the schedule because the tour is mostly inside. In this case, plan to bring an umbrella!

Additional details:
The tour starts at 1:00 sharp so please get there by 12:45 and we'll walk down where the tour starts around 8 minutes before. (The tour is run by the Friends of Pump House Park, with which I am not affiliated so I have no control over start times.)
After the tour if the weather remains good we'll walk down the trail to the train tracks to view the CSX bridge and maybe get some good pictures of it.
Just a few last minute reminders:

• Wear sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty
• Bring your camera if you have one
• Bring your fastest lens (thanks Michael for the reminder!)
• Bring a monopod for slow shutter speeds to help get better shots in low light (also useful as a walking stick)
• If you don't have a monopod, bring a hiking pole (I will bring extras if you don't have one), as the walk down the train tracks can be tricky.
