Hike Violet Crown Trail

Let's go hike the Violet Crown Trail. We will hike about 4.5 miles and will take approximately two hours. As always, please come prepared. I recommend bringing at least two liters of water, sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and hiking boots. I rate this trail as moderate so you need to be able to handle some difficult terrain.

Parking is available at the SPEC'S next door [4970 W US Hwy 290,
Austin, TX 78735] and from there you can then walk over to the trail. Here is more information about the trail.
