Alhambra Creek Loop

As the hills start turning green here’s a new hike for us from the Alhambra Creek staging area in Briones regional Park at 2537 Releiz Valley Rd. Martinez. The parking area is at the end of the road. 

This trek is 5 miles long with 1,040 feet elevation gain and includes lots of hills, trees, and views to enjoy.

There will also be some mud. So be prepared with extra shoes and a plastic bag in your car for the journey home. Plan to bring water, sturdy shoes, layers to wear, a snack to eat, and of course, an attitude for making friends.

Dogs are allowed with some leash requirements posted along the way.
