See Canyon Trail #184 - Christopher Creek
Please: >>> SERIOUSLY CONSIDER YOUR PACE, STAMINA AND ABILITY TO SAFELY COMPLETE THE HIKE without separating from the group
The trail meanders along and across the picturesque creek through the mostly shaded area above Christopher Creek. Several creek crossing should be easy at this time since it has been a long time without any rain here. The last mile or so may be strenuous, climbing steeply to the forest road 300 (Rim road) just East of the Iconic Promontory Butte, rewarding us with beautiful views of the area south and below the rim.
Difficulty: Moderate plus strenuous ( last mile)
Please: >>> SERIOUSLY CONSIDER YOUR PACE, STAMINA AND ABILITY TO SAFELY COMPLETE THE HIKE without separating from the group.
Total distance: 7 miles
