We will meet at Burrs Country Park free car park at 9.50 am for first foot forward at 10.30 am.

The nearby Lampost Cafe opens at 9 am. for breakfast/tea/coffee.

Toilets are available in the cafe.

This will be a joint walk with Lancashire 30's + 40's Walking Group at a leisurely pace with a couple of rest/coffee stops on route.

It's an easy 7 mile circular walk, taking in the River Irwell along paths and bridleways to Summerseat and back.

Bring a packed lunch and some liquid refreshment for a lunch stop halfway round😋

Dogs are welcome on short leads 🐕‍🦺

Post walk pub will be The Brown Cow near the car park🍻
