Runner Ducks lay lots of eggs and aren't really into swimming much.  Plus they are Danged cute.  Next on my own list of livestock I want.

I would be interested in:
Duckponics.   I am not making a joke some people use the duck wading pool part of the loop for their Aquaponics projects.
Its the only way I would consider raising ducks in my waterless desert property.

also

Greywater mechanics....  what kinds of soaps good bad,  The best kind of filtrations purification processes that are organic as in using areobic or anerobic bacteria.  Mechanical filtration.....  fiber to graduated gravel....  eventually to Hyacinth...

food preservation yes also stock rotation and storage.  No cellars in CA  so how do we do it without refrigeration.

Wind power harvesting

Also candlemaking, canning, and root cellars, or preserving root crops such as carrots, onions, and potatoes.  And I’m probably the only one around, but I want to learn about raising ducks.  Plenty out there on chickens, but we live on a pond, and it makes sense for us to get eggs from ducks.

Thanks,

Laurie
