A Charitable Evening with The Chinese Timekeeper benefitting Wokai

Not sure whether luxury timepieces can be called art. The premise is interesting and the event benefits one of my favorite charities, so here it is. If you are interested in coming to the event, simply RSVP to the contact info below.

China is the powerhouse of manufacturing for the world. But a new luxury watch brand to be proudly made in China, that’s a new angle. View the latest timepieces by The Chinese Timekeeper at hush on 7 December. Co-sponsored by Wokai the event includes a free two-hour open bar. CTK will be donating 50% of all sales of the evening to Wokai, and will be giving away a luxury watch.
See http://thechinesetime... for a sneak preview.

Date: Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011
Time: 7pm til late (free open bar 7-9pm)
Where: hush bar and lounge, 2 Glenealy, Central
RSVP: info@hush.hk/2537 2281

About Wokai:
Wokai is a non-profit dedicated to alleviating poverty in China through microfinance. Wokai’s approach uses the internet to allow contributors around the world to provide loan capital to borrowers in rural China, empowering them to lift themselves from poverty, one loan at a time.
