Cthulhu Dark: Smoke Green at One-Shot Saturday (tabletop RPGs)
Details
Cthulhu Dark: Smoke Green
The Reinhart Tobacco Factory is a crime scene! Company founder and president Reinhart Laine was discovered murdered in his own office. Who could have wanted the wealthy tycoon dead? Were his political affiliations in the bitter race to be Arkham’s next mayor somehow a factor? Or is the closely held secret to Reinhart Cigarettes’ distinctive green-smoking tobacco something a rival company might kill for? As Mayor Peabody's flunkies, it's your job to find out. And for goodness' sake make sure this doesn't get connected to the Mayor's office! A horror scenario for Cthulhu Dark, set in 1920s New England.
May You Fish in Interesting Times
You play as anthropomorphic birds going on a fishing trip, who also happened to be rebels in a failed revolution that took place several years ago. This is a cosy fishing game, but at the same time about broken birds bonding over shared past trauma.
(No) Rest for the Wicked
You are a merry gang of criminals who have just pulled off the job of a lifetime. Unfortunately, the getaway was neither clean nor quick, and you’ve left a trail of breadcrumbs that will lead the cops right to your doorstep. With the smoking ruins of the crime scene behind you, law enforcement hot on your trail, and your allies going to ground, you have narrow window of escape before your misdeeds catch up to you
WHAT IS ONE-SHOT SATURDAY?
It's a weekly meet-up in Sheung Wan/Central, focusing on indie games and single-session games (one-shots). 而家所有游戏係英文嘅但如果你要嚟玩中文游戏,我哋會無任歡迎。只要湊啱玩家就行!
You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us.
Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers.
Join the conversation, make plans, suggest games to play, etc. —

WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG?
It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world.
Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
