Another opportunity to play boardgames at a friendly place to spent an evening... The Chatterbox Pub.
This location is well known for it's support of gameplayers. They have some old school videogames to play, but we invite you to join us and play some newer games, maybe BETTER games? ...You decide!
I think they are one of the better places to hold our GameNight! Meetups at. Their beer selection is very above average, lots of choices, and some hard to find brews that craft beer snobs like me enjoy.
The food is better than most "pub grub" - there's a lot of good variety beyond the burger and hot dog sort of food.
Best of all is the support from the owner and management staff. They ASKED us to hold a regular boardgame event at their location, and they seriously like to welcome folks to stay and play games.
They even have a Groupon special at the moment, and other specials are often available.
Got anything better to do on a Thursday night? I mean, besides going down to the local pub and having some fun with your boardgame friends?
(Okay, fine go do that, then.)
(We'll be here next time when you feel more like joining us....)
As a courtesy to our hosts, please buy some food or drinks and tip generously (we take up their tables for a long part of the night).

Please bring some of your games if you have them so we'll have plenty to choose from. Official start time is 6:00pm but if people show up later that's okay, too. we can stay and play boardgames until 11pm.
Maybe even later if that is how it should go!
(They stay open until 1am. It's a bar, after all....)
We generally play "modern" board games as opposed to old standards like Monopoly or Scrabble. They run from light, breezy games that take 15-30 minutes or more up to "brain burner" ones that go for a couple of hours.
But even if you haven't played board games since Candyland, don't be intimidated. Teaching games is something we do every meetup, and half the fun is learning something new. There are so many games out there that nobody has seen them all.
BTW... We welcome gamers of all races, genders, orientations, religions, backgrounds, experience level and anything else you can think of - let's play some games!
Hope to see you there!
Your hosts, Chris, L, and Maria
