Subject: [HROA] Bike Repair Class

Bike Beat in Newport News is offering a 4 week Park Tool School bike repair class. The class will begin on Tuesday, Jan 3rd and last for 4 weeks. Each session will be 2 hours of hands on practical bike repair. There is a limit of 4 people per class. Class will cover basic bike repair tire/tube repair, brake/gear adjustment, and other  aspects of repair. Cost is $125 per person, you also receive a Park Repair Manual that retails for appx. $25. I would need to know by Dec. 15th and have your deposit of $50 to reserve your place. Several members took an abbreviated version of this class awhile back and thought it was very useful.
If you just ride around your neighborhood help is just around the corner, but if your like me and enjoy heading out for multi day self contained rides this might be the chance to gain some skills to keep you from being stranded in the back country far from help.
If your interested give me a call or email[masked] [address removed] and I can give you more info there's only room for 3 more at this time.

Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone on this mailing list ([address removed])
