Ron, I tripped over a place in Cave Creek that is supposed to have the best ice cream in the State! So...
We'll leave from the Shell at Robert Rd. & Rte. 69, down Rte. 69 to I-17 South. Exit onto Carefree Hwy. East. Then left on Cave Creek Rd.
For Lunch:

Then, nearly next door:
The City Creamery
6268 E. Cave Creek Rd.
Return, the same roads, or back thru Wickenburg.
