Geshe Kelsang Gyatso teaches, "Meditation doesnât mean just sitting on our cushion or chair with our eyes closed but familiarizing ourselves with peaceful thoughts during all our daily activities, identifying with them more and more. Every Dharma mind is an effective antidote to some unpeaceful mind." Exploring the painful mind of âself-graspingâ will enable us to both examine how to use Dharma as its antidote and also to discover a means to access in its place our naturally peaceful mind bringing us the happiness we all seek.
