Sweet Romeo is looking for a permanent home! Kindly share his story with your family and friends! We hope to find him a home by the end of the month! Below is his bio provided by his foster mom:
Romeo is a young dog (18 mos.-2yrs) and weighs 50-55 lbs. He is neutered and vaccinated. He did have heartworms but has been treated to rid of them! He has the face of a pit and the body of a hound. He is a smart, lovable, high-energy people-focused dog. He does get along with my other 3 dogs and plays with them. He can be food aggressive, so I separate them during feeding time. Most likely he was always kept outside and has now learned some house manners. He is familiar with crating as I have had him at the vet several times for h/worm treatments. He does not get along with cats probably 'cause of his hunting training. He walks on a leash and knows several commands: Sit, paw, down, stay, eat, "gimme" a kiss, "night-night", and of course, "treat"!
He will make a wonderful one-on-one companion for someone who will give him the attention he needs. He would also do OK as another dog in someone's home as long as the other dog will play with him and their temperaments will work together.
