I am excited and delighted to inform you that one of our awesome members, Toni Horton, has been working-around-the-clock to open up a neighborhood much-needed mini-farmer's market in Mid-City! The market's grand opening will take place this Sunday, April 13th, from 9 am to 4 pm
located at 3525 Bienville, in the parking lot of St. Margaret's Assisted Living Center. There will be local produce, food and arts and crafts for sale. Best of all, some of the proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Louisiana! To help promote this event and ensure its success, join our leaflet team by contacting me at [address removed] or post either of these attractive fliers on your FB page or send it to your family and friends! Here are some other ways to volunteer:
7am Sunday: Volunteers with truck or SUV to pick up senior citizens and their flea market items and bring to the market and/or meet them there and help them set up.
Volunteer to help any senior citizens with the pricing their items before 9 am.
3:30pm Sunday: Volunteers with truck or SUV to pick up senior citizens and their flea market items and take them home.
To volunteer, please contact Toni at[masked] or email her at swapmeetnola.com.
