As a follow-up to our March HumanistsMN chapter meeting on mass incarceration, join me to attend this PUBLIC TALK AND POLICY PANEL sponsored by the Robina Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice at the University of Minnesota. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required at http://robinainstitute.umn.edu/events/public-talk-policy-panel-bruce-western?mc_cid=d928ba1c76&mc_eid=73f967d19b

Dr. Bruce Western, one of the nation's foremost experts on mass incarceration and the Co-Director of Columbia University's Justice Lab, will give a short presentation about his new book, Homeward: Life in the Year After Prison, followed by a response panel, and then audience Q&A.

The policy panel will bring together three policy, practice, and advocacy leaders to provide short responses to Homeward.
The response panel includes:
Emily Hunt Turner, Founder and CEO of ALL Square
Jason Sole, Author of From Prison to Ph.D.
Tyler Winkelman, Clinician and Investigator, Hennepin County Medical Center
