Our December Monthly Gathering features atheist activists AronRa and Lilandra ( with a presentation regarding AronRa's new book, The Foundational Falsehoods of Creationism (

The doors will open at 12:30 and the program will kick off with opening announcements at 1:00 PM. Free Starbucks coffee, bottled waters, and snacks will be provided.

AronRa is a world-famous atheist activist, video-blogger, former Texas State Director of American Atheists (, former host of The Dogma Debate (, and current President of Atheist Alliance of America ( AronRa first became known for his YouTube video series "The Foundational Falsehoods of Creationism" ( which exposed the fraudulent claims of the creationism movement, and which has attracted over 20 million views and 142,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel.

Lilandra is the former host of the video podcast "The n0nes (", co-blogger along with Aron at the Patheos Atheist ( blog Reason Advocates (, as well as a science curriculum specialist who instructs teachers on how to use the science curriculum. She also writes and co-produces Living Science videos with Aron Ra which are used as curriculum supplements for students and teachers.

Limited copies of Aron's book will be available for sale at a substantial discount ($10 each), and Aron will be available to sign copies of the book after the presentation. The books may sell out quickly, so you may wish to buy one separately in advance ( to ensure that you have a copy.

Our City-Wide Monthly Gathering is the cornerstone of all HOH activities, where people from the entire Houston and surrounding areas are invited to come. It generally starts with announcements and a brief presentation of a humanist topic, followed by guest speaker and Q&A/discussion.
