Great. As a foreigner I did not know that American prisons were privately operated. Indeed it is a business and "more prisoners enter more money in". Interesting all interventions, in particular that of David Simon. In fact, recalling the percentages American to European (1% versus 0.1% EU U.S. prisoners for the entire population), he said "there is really something wrong"! Is it due to private business? if this were the case, human rights would be stepped by sheer lucrativity but always invoking the "justice for all". BTW David has also earned a lot of this genre with his books and videos bestsellers "the wire".

Was volenteering most of time, so never actually met the group, but had a good time none the less.

I didn't get much opportunity to get to know the Humanists, but I was impressed with those I encountered.

Interesting group. I was pleased to see all ages represented, including an equal mix of women and men; in addition, I noted several ethnic groups in attendance. Those facts suggest that the group indeed is all-inclusive.

If we have more participation from Columbians, we can have more meetings in Columbia.

I don't have a comment yet, as I've only been to one meeting and couldn't say long enough to discuss anything.
