Wreath-Laying at Arlington Cemetery

Veterans Day is about honoring those who have served our nation. We should also take time to remember the fallen. The Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns as part of bi-coastal veterans day activities, including at American University in DC on November 8th. The Wreath-laying is open to the public. Visitors should arrive at Arlington Cemetery by 12:45PM to arrive in time for the wreath-laying ceremony.

This is a short ceremony, open to the public. This is a solemn ceremony, but there is no charge for access or dress code. There is additional information about access or for-fee transportation at the Arlington Cemetery visitors page.

Some may be interested in continuing the day to see other foxhole atheist gravesites at Arlington. MAAF has a map and location information for those interested.
