If you do, how do you label yourself (Humanist, Ethical Culturist, Atheist, Skeptic, Religious, etc)?

A reasonable question with no simple answer, as I prefer not to label myself. If asked, or if it comes up in conversation, I tend to respond with "non-believer", or "skeptic", or "humanist", or best: "I simply have no belief in the supernatural".

Welcome to Humanism San Diego, How did you hear about us, and what gives us the fortune of having your company?

Through the San Diego CoR website.

What would you like to see from our group?

Nothing more than to meet others who share a secular worldview and appreciate critical thinking skills and skepticism toward the "unbelievable", pseudosciences, and the supernatural.

How long have you considered yourself to be a Humanist?

Although I didn't necessarily realize it at the time, I developed a very "humanist" worldview during my teens. It was during this time that I developed a keen appreciation for science and the natural world around us. Watching Star Trek helped, too!

Introduction

In the last three or four years I have become very aware of the collision between "my" world and the world of those who believe in the supernatural. I want to be involved with a group that helps to promote a secular, reality-based worldview.
