Hey everyone, just like old times it is C&C two weeks in a row! Also, this weekend is our annual lecture on Secular Humanism. I have been proud to give it for the last several years and host our discussion of it in January back to 2004. In the past it was a bit long but as I have become a national Humanist Speaker I have sharpened my skills and I think that you will particularly like this year's edition. It involves a talk on Humanist Ethics for the 20-teens [masked]). The meeting will feature my talk, and a workshop over the ethics and philosophy of Humanism in our world today.
Secondly, as the third Sunday snuck up on me (being this weekend rather than next), I have had to push the George William Foote study material disbursement until Monday. We will discuss that two weeks from now at the next coffee & conversation after this weekend.
Third, we didn't get our application in on time for the MLK parade, but we are going to continue with a play reading of Inherit the Wind (to be involved email us back at this address).
Fourth, March I am giving a class on Secular Government at Joyce Beers.
Fifth, see you this weekend!
And a thought for our meetings Saturday and Sunday this Weekend. For Saturday please submit topics/new articles to me by Friday evening; and Sunday: IF you believe that God can read your mind, then he doesn't trust you; if you create your laws based upon what you think that HE wants, then you don't trust him.
see you this weekend
