Join us on Sunday 16th November for our next Hands-on Humanism’s forward‑looking conversation exploring the evolution of education and the way Artificial Intelligence is shaping how we teach and learn about Science, the Humanities and our world

How do we reconcile the new science of AI with our humanity? How can we change the way we view education in the light of these groundbreaking developments?

Discover the truth behind Artificial Intelligence: it's not a sentient mind, but a powerful pattern-recognition system. AI analyses data to uncover trends, make predictions, and generate new content—all without thoughts or awareness. It simply learns from what it’s seen and applies those patterns to deliver impressive results. Embrace the brilliance of machine intelligence, built on repetition, not reflection.

Artificial Intelligence dazzles with its capabilities, but it's not infallible. Unlike humans, AI doesn’t grasp meaning, context, or truth—it operates on patterns and probabilities. It can sound confident, yet still miss the mark, because it doesn’t reason, plan, or hold opinions. Understanding its limits is key to using it wisely and effectively.

Join us for a discussion around this very current topic.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Warm regards,
Claudia
