This Meetup has been cancelled for February 9 due to bad weather.
Join us to celebrate Darwin Day!
Darwin Day events are held around the world as a way to commemorate the birth of Charles Darwin, who was born on February 12, 1809. The day is used to highlight Darwin's contributions to science and to promote science in general.
Laurent Beauregard will give a short presentation about Darwin and his work. This will be followed by time for socializing and food.
Bring a breakfast or brunch dish to share! Come learn about Darwin and join in the birthday celebration!
We make it worth your while to get up early on Sunday morning. =-)
Programs are presented in four broad areas relevant to Humanism:
Human Well Being
Humanities, Culture, and Morality
