  I will try to get 2 more and expand the group size.*\n\nTHE HIKE: 10 mile
 s\, 1\,200 vertical feet\, moderate pace.\n\nThis is a fun "lollipop loop"
  hike which has a lot to offer: beautiful Todd Lake\, forest paths\, vista
 s above tree line\, streams\, springs (even this year)\, stunning views in
 to the Broken Top crater\, and some irrigation features from the early 190
 0s. We will also do a little off-trail navigation where you can learn or p
 ractice map and compass skills if desired. Lots of good water available al
 ong the way. We'll take a 30 minute break for lunch next to Crater Ditch.

DESCRIPTION:Humpday Hike\n**New date due to weather.**\n\nThere will still
  be a repeat on Sept 24th. I'll use the final attendance lists for Sept 11
 th to build the lists for the Repeat and publish on Sept 12th.\n\n**The hi
 ke:** Out and back\, 11 miles\, 1600 vertical feet on a section of the PCT
  starting at Santiam Pass. A few switchbacks\, but nothing too steep. This
  hike will give us a great view of the west side of Three Fingered Jack. S
 everal nice viewpoints along the way. No water is available.

DESCRIPTION:Humpday Hike\n9 mile loop\, with 1400 vertical feet elevation 
 gain. Starts at Tumalo Falls\, goes upstream along Tumalo Creek past lots 
 of waterfalls\, tops out at 6100 feet in Happy Valley (where we'll eat lun
 ch)\, and returns to the south through the Watershed (therefore **no dogs*
 *). We will have a shin deep wet stream crossing\, or a slightly scary log
 -balancing dry stream crossing - your choice.
