Hambrick Bat Cave Paddle

Let’s meet at Guntersville dam at 6:30 for a wonderful evening watching over 60,000 bats emerge from their cave to feed for the night. Goal is to be on the water by 7 to kayak the mile or so to the cave. You will need your own kayak, paddle board, canoe etc. The pin on the map will take you to the exact location where we will launch. We will be paddling back into the fading light if the setting sun, so bring some lighting so you can be seen. Please note we will be kayaking over very deep water and there will be boats around so we will need to be careful. Make sure you have life jackets, bug spray, and any refreshments you desire.
