This is a mountain bike tour (not a race) for everyone from families and beginners to advanced riders. there are 3 courses: 9 miles (old roads) 14 miles (singletrack & old roads) 18+ miles (mostly singletrack) the stewart state-forest (7,000+acres) has some of the best singletrack in the hudson valley, along with old country roads and beautiful vistas, all closed to road traffic! pre- register and recieve a t-shirt and lunch. trail maps will be provided.
Don't miss the 3rd Annual Sloppy Joe's Stewart Bike Tour! come and ride some of the newer trails and some of the new and improved older trails (thanks to the SOS folks!) Enjoy our post-ride party with hot dogs, pizza, heroes, ice cream, and of course Sloppy Joe's! all proceeds benefit CROC (Citizens Reunited to Overcome Cancer) a children's cancer support group. see more info below.
