Join us for a faster paced workout at Bear Mountain. We will power-up the Welsh, reconvene at top of the MW and descend on the AT.
If you fall behind during the hike, you must be prepared to finish on your own. This is not the time to try this hike for the first time due to limited daylight.

Faster hikers are not obligated to wait for slower hikers. You must feel comfortable hiking out on your own should you fall behind. There is no sweep. If you are unsure whether or not this is for you, please email me with any questions prior to the day of the hike.

Make sure you have a copy of the map, a working headlamp, spare batteries and minimum 2 liter of water. T-Storms or hazardous driving conditions cancel. This would be determined that day if necessary.

There are no guests. Please have your friends join HVH - its free.

Distance: about 4 miles

Gain: 1200 on the ascent

Hike time: 2 hours

Map: NYNJTC #119
