This hike starts from the Lafayette Place Campground. where we will take the Lonesome Lake trail to the High Cannon Trail to the summit of Cannon Mountain. We will then go back down the High Cannon trail to the Kinsman Ridge trail to North Kinsman and then to South Kinsman. We will then take the Kinsman Ridge Trail back to Kinsmans Pond where we will pick up the Fishin Jimmy Trail to the Lonesome Lake Trail back to Lafayette Place Trailhead.
Mileage: 10.7 miles
Accent: 4450ft.
*You should not do this hike without having a topographic trail map for this area and a compass on you.*
Mountaineering Snowshoes are required on this hike!

• What to bring
Items to bring:
- Headlamp
- GPS app/device
- Spare batteries for headlamp
- Spare headlamp (or small flashlight)
- Bring a little more food than you think you'll need
- Fire starter (matches, nuggets, lighter, etc.)
- Gloves
- Spare gloves
- Spare socks
- Rain jacket
- Hat
- Balaclava
- Snowshoes (Mountaineering)
- Microspikes
- Ski googles (if we will be exposed above treeline for a while)
- Stove (optional - for melting snow and fire-starting)
- Emergency blanket
NOTE: You are responsible for bringing appropriate gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. You should review topographic maps and trail features carefully; understanding topography of any hike is key to your knowing where you are, where you're going, and how to get back.
