I'm posting this so people in the community who love heart-centered community, Kundalini Yoga, & events where the majority attending are iNtuitive Feelers --can connect: Some of us are meeting at this; if u haven't attended Ra Ma Yoga u can call them to attend free(instructions below):
Kundalini Yoga is nothing like regular yoga: it focuses on inspiring meditations combined with movement, & chanting or breath, --that facilitates living a life lead by your soul/ heart-centered decision making. And is powerfully uplifting, very magickal, & increases ones life energy.
You must attend the class to share the diinner, but if you've never done it before or have fitness challenges --you can do it very gently.
***Though there will probably be spaces for people to drop in, --because I'm posting this on more than 1 site I recommend calling them & reserving a spot for yourself to make sure you have a space.***
[masked] ***IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO THEIR CENTER BEFORE --TO ATTEND FOR FREE TELL THEM YOU'RE NEW & WOULD LIKE TO BOTH REGISTER FOR THE FREE NATIONAL YOGA MONTH WEEK FOR NEW STUDENTS, *PLUS*, REGISTER FOR THE SUNDAY 5:30 CLASS & DINNER.***
To find me look for the person with a green, bubbly, accordian folding camping mat instead of a yoga mat :) or ask folks at the desk. I'll be arriving just as the class starts because I'll be rushing there after our Sacred Feminine circle ( http://www.meetup.com/iNtuitives-of-Los-Angeles/events/135788052/ )--which is happening right before & ends at 5pm.
5:30 -7:30pm: 11th Day of the Moon Special Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Class with the founder of the center --Jagat ( she focuses a lot on the moon & planets in her classes, with lots of oomph, joyous spirit, & awesome ecstatic music!); includes vegetarian Dinner There's a great informal energy at this center --that's just really great for folks trying their 1st time at Kundalini Yoga, --though I've mentioned other favorites below, --this is a great place to ~Let Go~ :)
Though there are many amazing Kundalini Yoga teachers in SoCal --& I've only experienced a handful of them; I'm inviting 2 of my favorites --though I can't guarantee they'll be able to attend since they need to be available to sub other people's classes if they're needed. But they are:
Sat Devbir Singh: His class is a very magical experience, --though its not a circle or a ritual --its one of the few opportunities in the mainstream world where 1 can just 'drop-in' to a class & touch on that kind of experience. I've only done his 4pm Santa Monica Goldenbridge class, but he teachers at other studios around SoCal. http://www.satdevbirsingh.com/
Kiyomi Takahashi & her classes are very whimsical, inspiring, & restorative. A very different experience than Sat Devbir Singh above ( & all kundalini yoga teachers classes are *very* different), --more similar to regular yoga, but sweet, inspiring & with a really friendly, easy energy that's very good for someone's 1st experience( as is Sat Devbir Singh's above) http://www.purevitalliving.com/
