Tareq Ismail, Principal UX Designer @ Amplitude
Ran Liu, Senior UX Designer @ Amplitude
Tareq spent far too long being a Software Engineer and then a Product Manager until he realized his true passion was in Design. Now, as a Principal UX Designer at Amplitude, he's passionate about teaching others analytics and he truly believes anyone can leverage the power of data. Previously, he led the UX team at Maluuba, a voice assistant AI company that was acquired by Microsoft, and before that he led his own start-up, Szello, that specialized in iPad apps.
Ran is a data-driven product designer who creates delightful user experiences through a user-centered design process. Before joining Amplitude as a Senior UX Designer, Ran designed user experiences at Marketo and Chartboost. She holds a MS in Computer Science from University of Maryland College Park where she focused on Human Computer Interaction and Data Visualization.
