Hi Thomas - I’m going to send you a little .PDF I
wrote here in a second. (off list)
It’s got lots of white space, fun graphics and might offer
some words of wisdom
and value that you can rip off for your report.
Your need here is stated well:
Are you aware of an article that provides an overview of the
most critical aspects of web site usability and/or user experience , together
with research that validates the importance of each issue?
-
Nielsen consulting probably has something for you. http://www.useit.com/alertbox/
-
The public library also has free databases you can search online
with your valid library card (ProQuest, etc).
Any librarian can show you how. http://www.lapl.org
You may very well find a free exacting article to give you the
data needed.
Best,
Tia Dobi

Subject: [ia-55] Value of User Experience
Hi,
A friend of mine is compiling some research on user experience. His
audience is business executives not familiar with or convinced of the value of
user experience. Can anyone answer or point to direct sources related to the
following question?
Are you aware of an article that provides an overview of the most critical
aspects of web site usability and/or user experience , together with research
that validates the importance of each issue?
Thanks!
-Tom
