Do you know how to put on a harness, tie in, belay a climber (including holding falls) and lower off under control, without supervision or assistance? If not, please do a beginner or refresher course before you come to your first meetup. Thanks!
I have been climbing at the reach over a year now and really enjoy it.
The SECAS group are a good bunch of people and really friendly.

ICAS Indoor meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at the Reach for social climbing sessions. We are the indoor arm of the BMC-affiliated ICAS Climbing Club for outdoor climbing. Our indoor meets are open to all comers, both indoor and outdoor climbers.
We welcome new members regardless of the level you are climbing at, be it 3 or 9a. You can turn up alone or with friends, any time from 7pm. Please ask at Reception to be pointed towards the host for the evening.
New members MUST:
Be registered as unsupervised climbers at the Reach.
Know how to belay safely and tie in without assistance BEFORE they come to a session.
Provide or hire their own equipment including belay devices.
