What interests you about learning how to identify mushrooms and joining forays with others who are engaged in learning about mycology and the environment?

Seeing that mushroom in the book that you've been wanting to find forever and finally finding it, and correctly identifying it, is the most exciting and fun thing I can possibly think of doing. .... Aside from eating it, if it's edible. :-)

How did you learn about this organization and its events?

From googling mycology clubs.

Just a reminder: this group focuses on having fun, while pursuing serious education about mushrooms.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Since I was a kid I've been fascinated with fungi, I started getting more serious about it when I was about 15, that's when I bought my first field guide.
