Dublin Independent Movie Lovers: The Shrouds & Once Upon a Time in Anatolia

Hi, All Independent Movie Lovers

You are invited meet at 7 pm, on Friday the 18th of July. This meeting is at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square, Dublin.
We will discuss the film:
The Shrouds (2024), directed by David Cronenberg. David Cronenberg has had a long, sometimes controversial career directing mainly horror themed movies.
We will also discuss:
Once Upon a Time in Anatolia (2011), directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Nuri Bilge Ceylan is a celebrated Turkish director who won Best Director at Cannes in 2008 for his 2008 movie Three Monkies.

We will watch the movies independently, and meet for discussion on Friday the 18th of July, at 7 pm, at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square.

The Shrouds will be showing at the Irish Film Institute, Eustace Street, the Light House Cinema and at the VUE Cinema, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, until Thursday the 10th of July.

Once Upon a Time in Anatolia is available for online rental on Apple TV. Several Dublin public libraries have DVD or Blu-Ray copies available to borrow.
