Let's leave the year behind us with a good movie. Better still, let's see a good movie with bad hairstyles.
The 70s were an interesting time in American history, but the hair and clothing styles were so out-there that they seem to be all we remember of the period. American Hustle comes from director David O. Russell, who brought us Silver Linings Playbook, Three Kings, and The Fighter. He's one of America's most interesting directors, and many critics are suggesting that this is his best. On Rotten Tomatoes, this movie has a score of 95%, which is pretty rare for a mainstream movie.
