Burn After Reading Movie starts @ 7pm try to be at the staircase by 6:45 so we can go in early as a group and get seating. It will probably be crowded. Opens Friday, September 12. For times, view our Schedule "A blackly comic illustration of Murphy's Law ... populated with a cast of delusional dunces who are a wonder to behold." - David Ansen, Newsweek A dark spy-comedy from Academy Award-winners Joel and Ethan Coen. Fired CIA agent Osbourne Cox (John Malkovich) is writing his memoirs. His estranged wife, Katie (Tilda Swinton), secretly downloads the manuscript as ammunition for her divorce. Her lawyer’s secretary then loses the disc in the women’s locker room of her gym. After gym employee Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand) finds the disc, she and her co-worker Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt) decide to sell the info to the highest bidder, assuming that the disc contains vital classified information. Enter Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney), the man assigned to recover the disc, who is also sleeping with Katie Cox, Ozzie’s wife. As Linda and Chad begin exploiting their find, events spiral out of everyone’s and anyone’s control, in a cascading series of darkly hilarious encounters. Rated R. 113 minutes. Hard to go wrong with the Coen brothers! We will be doing something after the film as well. The plan is to go to Circus Bar and Billards/The Cavern Club after the film $5 cash cover charge admits you to 4 venues.

Circus Circus was great. Good conversation was there, although I was shy to talk too much.

This was probably the best Film Meetup ever! Movie was funny and the gathering at Circus afterward was fun. Can't wait for the next one!
