J-Rock group Peelander-Z is famous for their costumed antics. Think of them as Japan's Of Montreal. They are the performers and likely guest judges at the Bridges to Japan Exhibition's cosplay competition and demonstration. The cosplay contest starts at 6:30 and the FREE concert is at 7:30.
The nine thousand square foot exhibition and its cultural demonstration stage are going to be dominated by every cosplay enthusiast in Central Indiana and we hope to see you there! An absolute must for all the cosplayers and J-rockers in our group. It is only one in a series of events at the State Fair as part of the Bridges to Japan exhibition. Come early and check out some of the day's other events. Full schedule here. There's a Japanese food stall in the exhibit hall and as many fair food vendors as anyone could ask for right outside.
One thing I would love to see as a representative of our group is if someone could cosplay as our amazing yet unnamed mascot!
