Subject: [anime-604] New Meetup,The Art of Japan

I've added a new meetup for February. This is an art exhibition focusing on traditional and contemporary Japanese artists in Indianapolis and features antique kimono's that were made around the turn of the century in Indianapolis or brought from Japan by immigrants. Traditional Japanese caligraphy from a local Japanese artists and some blown glass pieces by an old artist friend of mine Yuri Akimota a member of JASI and the Asian American Alliance who was part of the Asian festival last year. Yuri, the museum curator who donated the kimono's and the caligrapher will be at the opening as well as many other members of the Japanese American Society of Indianapolis. Check out our calender for more info or visit the JASI site here
