Calvin Hendryx-Parker will present on Using Python with AWS Lambda to respond to web hooks.
Amazon's Lambda service enabled developers to build and deploy micro services using Python, Java and Node.js. It runs on a pay per use model and bills in 100ms increments making it very cheap to deploy highly scalable services that can react to API gateway calls or AWS events. In this month's talk, we will go over the process to create a Lambda and how to hook it up to the AWS API Gateway product so it can respond to web hooks coming from third party services.
Hope to see you for beers and Python!
