What we're about

Infinite Spirit Sounds organise three regular monthly/bi-monthly events in London, in association with The Psychedelic Society. These events are: ‘Psychedelic Sound Journeys’, ‘Psychedelic Yoga & Sound Meditation’ and ‘All-Night Psychedelic Gong Bath’.

Here’s an introduction to the events (Check out the specific MeetUp event for more info):

There are many parallels between the states of consciousness that can be reached through yoga & the psychedelic experience. In ‘Psychedelic Yoga & Sound Meditation’, we aim to equip participants with yogic techniques to prepare the body & mind for the psychedelic experience, whilst practicing tools which can assist in the navigation & integration of those experiences. Each session has a different theme & a guided sound meditation created for that theme. The ‘sound meditation’ is designed to enable participants to journey within, facilitating enhanced states of consciousness. Participants will be guided through processes designed to enable them to develop deeper connections with themselves & one another. Sessions will include postures, breathing techniques, mantras, mudras, philosophy, meditation & sound, in a supportive, fun & friendly environment.

PSYCHEDELIC SOUND JOURNEYS - An immersive & meditative healing sound journey created with a 38” planet gong & 32” symphonic gong, Tibetan & crystal singing bowls, shamanic drums, steel tongue pan, harmonica, shanti chimes, shruti box, vocal toning & medicine songs.

As you relax under a blanket on your mat, allowing yourself to be guided into an enhanced state of consciousness, the sound waves will wash through you, carrying you on a journey deep within yourself.

One of the intentions behind the session is to use the healing tools of the gongs, drums, voice & other instruments, to create frequencies & patterns, which combined with various meditative techniques, induce an enhanced state of consciousness where healing can occur.

ALL-NIGHT PSYCHEDELIC GONG BATH - A unique and magical sleepover gong experience at The Old Baths in Hackney Wick. This is a night to stay in a peaceful and deeply meditative space, and have a healing and transcendental journey till sunrise. We use various instruments throughout the night including numerous gongs, crystal & Tibetan singing bowls, shamanic drums, didgeridoo, shanti chimes & shruti boxes, combined with overtone singing, vocal toning & medicine songs, weaving a tapestry of sound to guide you on your journey within. There is also an hours workshop at the beginning of each session which varies each time. It alternates between Yoga, Movement journeys, Contact improvisation & more. In the morning we share an organic vegetarian breakfast together.

They have also facilitated on The Psychedelic Experience weekends in the Netherlands organised by The Psychedelic Society UK, combining yoga & sound healing to enhance participants journeys within. However, there are no illegal substances at these events & they aren't designed for people to take psychedelics at.

“I recently had the pleasure of attending Psychedelic Sound Journeys. A deeply immersive experience, taking you gradually deeper and deeper into a state of peaceful awareness. Artfully woven, the sounds, chanting and spoken word worked together to significantly deepen my meditation and expand my consciousness. The setting was made safe from the outset, with a focus on full acceptance of the self and a chance to consider my intention for the session. I felt genuine goodwill from these facilitators and wholly supported on my own journey of healing. A must for any explorer of psychedelic consciousness!” Fabien

“The discussion and meditation explored ideas of consciousness and perception that people who have taken psychedelics have experienced, but others might be familiar with from dreams or meditative states. It’s a really thoughtful class for anyone interested in combining aspects of diverse practices into a coherently flowing yoga and meditation session.” Stacy H

"They created a container that helped me feel held and safe enough to let go and voyage into myself. The power of the gongs and strength of their chants enabling a deep process within me - catalysed by a skilful balance between familiarity and novelty, between safety and provocation. The food was excellent and they were well equipped to meet my additional needs. The practitioners were clearly at the top of their game. It's definitely the best slumber party I've ever attended!” Mikey
