Secure & Compliant Crypto Accounts: A Practical Discussion

Panel participants are international crypto compliance expert, secure crypto payment provider, and a well-known crypto fund. Together parties will bring light to important aspects to open and manage crypto accounts. This event tailored for players involved with a crypto economy, funds, investors and post-ICO companies.

Cryptocurrencies are decentralized by nature, bringing challenges to be compliant with the current AML regulations. We believe that there will be cryptocurrencies with transparent blockchains, that are safe to use for everyone, and at some point, regulations for those currencies will be in place.

On the other hand, security in crypto is a big problem now. As cryptocurrencies become more popular and their values soar, hacker attacks are likely to become only more frequent. Currently, there are several ways to store savings in crypto. The person can create their own personal wallet, but they then have the burden of securing and protecting the wallet and associated cryptographic keys themselves. Another alternative is for an individual to sign up for an online wallet service where a private key gives access to all their funds. But, if they lose the key, they lose all of their money. Most of these services do not provide the necessary level of security, as they don’t have a license and they are neither credit nor financial organizations. We believe there should be a better solution to make cryptocurrency accessible to a wide audience. Let's talk about in on Tuesday January 29 in our nest meetup in Zug!
