Arduino Hackers

The Arduino meetup group meets at Hacker Lab on the first and third Thursdays of every month.

The idea is that you show up after 5 PM with the equipment you need to work:

- your laptop

- a USB cable

- Bring an Arduino card. They are available at Radio Shack for a reasonable price.

Work on a project or help someone with their project. We are here to learn together, and to work together on huge projects.

For each meeting, a subject will be announced at least a week before the meeting. At the meeting we will announce a challenge based on that subject. If you are interested, you can participate in trying to accomplish the challenge with everyone working together.

Thank you, and happy hacking!

Great! I had a good time meeting some new people and learning a few new things about the Arduino. I plan on attending the next meetup (this time I'm sure to have the Arduino board I ordered).

    Hello,
I’m new to the group and I don’t have a picture up yet. I hope to have one soon though. I have a limited knowledge of assembly language that I learned many years ago in my college computer classes and even less of the C language that I’ve attempted to learn on my own here and there. As far as I know the Arduino card uses one of these two program media for instructions since that is what the Atmel microcontrollers use. I will gather the listed materials and show up at the next meet-up. My goal is to learn a few things about microcontroller programming and make some new friends. Looking forward to meeting the group.
