INW Prep’s INSANE Dirty Santa / White Elephant / Steal a Gift Party (plus Tacos)

  • to
  • American Legion Post 143

1138 E Poleline Ave,, Post Falls, ID (map)

    47.729904 -116.927902

  • Left side of Bldg, "Bingo Room"
  • If you’ve ever played this, you know insanely FUN it can be!  By having this AFTER Christmas, we can “re-gift” something (out of the family!) or buy an item at reduced post-Christmas sales.  We'll gather and eat starting at 5PM, then the craziness starts at 6PM sharp!

    Guidelines:

    1- It must be an item useful to sustainability / preparedness;

2- Cost around $10, not to exceed $25.

    How to Play Dirty Santa

Everyone playing the game brings a wrapped gift so there is no indication about what is inside. Place the gifts together under the tree or on a table.

The host writes a number on scrap pieces of paper for every gift and places them in a basket, bowl or hat.

Each person draws a number. Getting a higher number is actually better because you will have more opened gifts to choose from.

The person with #1 picks a gift to open from the pile. The person with #2 can choose to open another package or steal the gift from #1. If a gift is stolen, the person who had it then steals from someone else or picks another gift to open.

The game continues like this until everyone takes a turn opening or stealing a gift. The last person to go can steal from anyone in the game or open the remaining gift.

Once a gift is stolen three times, it is retired from the game (third thief keeps it).

Come check us out; open to ALL!  First Tuesday of every month.  The kitchen needs RSVPs for meal counts; RSVP now, please!

The American Legion has "Taco Tuesdays" for only $5 bucks! Club sandwiches, etc also available; we "pass the hat" for room rental.

Time to develop COMMunications and UNITY among neighbors!

Come out & find who your like-minded neighbors are, what strengths and skills they have, and how we can help each other become stronger! The time for large unaffiliated groups is past. Now we form closer bonds to neighbors, and then network with similar groups in the area. Decide where you want to meet, how often, what times, what topics . . . . I am here to help facilitate, but this will be member-driven.

All (incl. "zero") levels of skill sets welcomed and encouraged to attend. This is a group of participants, not spectators; RSVP NOW!

    Thanks!

This will be a lot of fun! Especially if we bring useful items. Great idea!
