About our panelists:
Jen Nowlin is a principal at Minneapolis based Accredent, a 9 year old pioneer in IoT connected data driven business. As a Radio Frequency Engineer with a passion for connecting people and things, Jen has worked across the complete IoT value chain over a wide range of use cases with hundreds of companies, from start-ups to large enterprises. With over 20 years of experience, Jen works with companies on engineering strategic growth for the business side of IoT.
Dr. Cora Leibig is the founder and CEO of Chromatic 3D Materials, a company focused on developing innovative, disruptive materials for the 3D printing industry. Dr. Leibig has 20 years of professional experience in the materials industry: prior roles include VP of R&D and COO at Segetis, a VC-backed startup company, and Research Director at The Dow Chemical Company. In all of her efforts, she seeks to marry technology innovation with unmet needs in the market, and invest in technology that can accelerate business growth.
Cora earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997, and her M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering at MIT in 1993. She is married with four children.

Jeff Barnes is a Principal Systems Engineer and manager of Test Engineering in Digi International’s Wireless Design Services (WDS) group (formerly Spectrum DSI) that provides rapid development, testing, certification and production assistance for cellular, wifi, bluetooth, zigbee and other RF based embedded designs. In addition to Jeff’s over 25 years of experience in all things related to software he has been instrumental in creating cost effective functional test systems for the explosion of connected products with embedded antennas requiring over-the-air testing. Jeff has system engineered dozens of customer products that started with “a great idea” and are now profitable products servicing the IOT industry. He is currently the manager of the Digi WDS Test Engineering group responsible for device verification testing and production line functional tester design.
